Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website. They are not a client care letter: if you instruct us, a separate written agreement will set out the scope of work, the fee and the terms of that engagement.

About this website
This website is operated by Shams Britvisa Lawyers Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 14182242, at Shams Britvisa Lawyers Ltd, 291 Slade Lane, Manchester, M19 2HR, United Kingdom.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Information, not advice
Everything on this website is general information about the UK Global Talent visa. It is not immigration advice, it does not take account of your circumstances, and you should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of it.
Immigration rules, fees, endorsing body criteria and processing times change, sometimes at short notice. We take reasonable care to keep this site current and state when figures were last checked, but we do not warrant that it is accurate or complete at the moment you read it. The definitive source is GOV.UK and the endorsing body's own published guidance.
No client relationship is created by this site
Submitting the enquiry form, emailing us or speaking to us does not create a client relationship and does not oblige us to act for you. A relationship begins only when we have confirmed in writing that we are instructed, on agreed terms, and any applicable conflict and identity checks are complete.
No payments are taken on this website
This website does not process payments. There is no checkout, no card form and no online booking fee anywhere on it. Any fee for our services is agreed with you in writing before work begins and invoiced separately.
If you encounter a page that appears to be ours and asks you to pay online or to send funds, do not pay it — contact us using the details on this site to verify it first.
No guarantee of outcome
No adviser can guarantee that an endorsing body will endorse you or that the Home Office will grant a visa. Those decisions rest with them. We can only undertake to prepare and present your case competently and honestly.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate and complete information, and tell us promptly if anything changes.
Do not send us documents you are not entitled to share.
Use this site lawfully, and do not attempt to interfere with its operation or security.
Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this website belong to us or our licensors. You may read and print pages for your own use. You may not republish, sell or systematically copy the content without our written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information on this website. Liability in relation to services we are instructed to provide is dealt with in the engagement terms for that work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
